THIS WEEK'S TOP-10 MATCHUPS Friday, February 10 No. 5 Minnesota @ No. 2 Wisconsin No. 9 Harvard @ No. 6 Princeton Saturday, February 11 No. 5 Minnesota @ No. 2 Wisconsin Sunday, February 12 No. 10 Providence @ No. 1 New Hampshire COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The University of New Hampshire climbed to the No. 1 spot on this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll. The Wildcats defeated No. 10 Providence College and Boston College on the road last week to garner 15 of 19 first-place votes. It is New Hampshire's first stay at the top spot since Nov. 16, 1999. Meanwhile, Princeton University moved up two spots to No. 6. The Tigers went 2-1-0 on a three-game road trip last week, falling to No. 3 St. Lawrence University but knocking off No. 8 Clarkson University and Quinnipiac University. ABOUT THE POLL: The ninth annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and - more available
